When the mind is busy, with worry, anxiety, fears, anger, emotional conflicts, etc. the brain has a hard time letting go. If you have insomnia, you know the problem…
You start worrying early in the day about whether or not you are actually going to be able to sleep that night. And once you miss a night of sleep, you worry even more about not sleeping the next night. And just like that, you have created what I call, the insomnia cycle.
Insomnia is a sleep disorder in which a person has trouble falling asleep, staying asleep or receiving adequate sleep. Insomnia is not defined by the number of hours of sleep a person gets or how long it takes to fall asleep, as this varies from person to person.
This difficulty in sleeping can have a tremendous impact on the sufferer’s day-to-day functioning. Daytime symptoms of insomnia include: fatigue, lack of concentration, irritability, anxiety, depression, excessive sleepiness, and somatic complaints.
The good news is that we can change the Insomnia Cycle and re train your brain to slow down and enjoy sleeping in just a few sessions.
I use two approaches to help clients change their sleeping patterns: 1) We look at sleeping hygiene and make the necessary changes. 2) Clients work with Clinical Hypnosis to change their mind and brain patterns. In other words, we re train your brain to go into Alpha Level every evening so that you may drift into a restful estate.
I have helped so many people enjoy better and more restful night sleeps. I am confident I can help you too.
