Cancer Survivors in Ottawa now have the opportunity to participate and experience Hypnosis and Positive Visualization on the weekly basis. The Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation is now offering these workshops free of charge at the Maple Soft Center in Ottawa.
The purpose of practicing self-hypnosis is to strengthen the connection between the mind and the body, release negative emotions and learn to use imagery to promote health. Any person, at any stage of her or his life can create positive changes in her or his life by strengthening this connection and understanding it better. All participants in this program will learn how to communicate with their subconscious mind, use health promoting imagery, and use self-hypnosis to promote a healthier way of living.
Potential Benefits:
1.Experiencing deep physical and mental relaxation which in turn helps create an optimal environment for physical healing and or improvement.
2.Strengthening of the mind body connection.
3.Becoming emotionally stronger.

Time: 9:30am to 11:00am
This class is a registered drop-in. Participants have to register for the class every week. Registrations are open one week prior to the class. This registration system is designed to ensure as many members get access to the program.
