I practice Strength-Based, Holistic and Evidence Based Counselling with clients 18 years of age and older. We work collaboratively to gain insight and develop new skills to manage personal, family and social challenges. Psychotherapeutic Counselling is an effective tool to help us transform what we view as negative experiences and grow into more whole beings.

Psychotherapy or Counselling can support you in the areas of your life where you feel stuck. It can help increase your understanding of the way you engage with the world and with yourself.

My practice is a smooth integration of left and right brain therapeutic techniques and modalities. They are all effective in helping people move forward, transform, heal, let go of unwanted behaviours, as well as finding more peace of mind and joy.

Masters in Counselling Psychology – Yorkville University
Masters in Clinical Hypnotherapy – National Board
B.A. in Psychology and Women Studies – Ottawa University

In addition, I hold advanced formal training /certification in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Solution Focus Therapy (SFT), Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, Attachment and Family Systems, Trauma and Resiliency Approaches, Crisis and Suicide Assessment Intervention, Hypnotherapy and Neuro Linguistic Programing (NLP),Emotional Freedom Technique, Medical and Dental Hypnosis, as well as Age Regression and Transpersonal Hypnosis.

Anxiety in Cars

For years I felt debilitating anxiety when getting into a car and someone else was driving. In fact, it was simply unthinkable for me. Since we finished the hypnotherapy sessions I've been able to comfortably enjoy the car ride when my wife drives. My anxiety levels have also gone down quite a bit in other aspects.
